Elementary Education
I am a driven student hopeful to become an Elementary school teacher. I attend Blue Valley High School and am enrolled in the Teachers Education Program at the Center For Advanced Professions. Throughout my time at CAPS I have discovered how I want my classroom to be. In Caps I got the amazing opportunity to joint a literacy night project while Oak Hill Elementary school, which I got to create stations for. I currently live in Kansas with my parents and younger siblings. When I was about 8 years old my mom became a preschool teacher aid, which I would go to after school. That is where I absolutely fell in love with teaching at a young age. I nanny and babysit in my free time which also helps me further my understanding on how to work with children. To further my education as a teacher I will attend Kansas State University.

At this school I observed an Eighth Grade ELA classroom. Throughout the few weeks I was there I learned how different Eighth Grade is to First Grade. I was allowed the chance to watch student and teacher interactions, and learn about new teaching techniques.

At Blue River Elementary School I observed a First Grade classroom. This classroom was much different than my last observation. This was more hands-on and allowed me to teach the children and interact more with the students by helping them with math, and reading.
